JTME Project History
JTME was initially developed to support version 1.45. The project was founded on the original OTME server created by Gecko and Cybershadow between 2006 and 2008. Building upon this foundation, the project has evolved significantly over the years.
Between 2010 and 2013, developer Mindee took the project to new heights by rewriting the server in Java, ensuring full support for version 1.45. During this period, numerous functionalities and features were added, making the server more robust and functional.
In 2017, Mindee shared the server with a small community. At that time, Sande, a member of the former World 8, preserved the files until early 2023. This marked the beginning of the official JTME Server project. With Mindee’s collaboration, Sande managed to uncover encryption methods and implement substantial improvements to the server.
Since then, Sande has been leading the server’s development with active community support. The project benefits from the innovative ideas of its members, continuously enhancing the JTME Server and ensuring its relevance in the current landscape.
